Podio: use workflows to automate your processes

Podio Tip #8

The more work you do in Podio, the more you can automate it. Advanced workflows takes away the manual, repetitive stuff involved in organizing your work.

Each workflow is based on "if this, then that" logic. For example:

  • If you create a new project, then workflows can create a standard set of related deliverables for you
  • If you change the status of a sales lead to closed, then workflows will send a task to someone in accounts to create an invoice
  • If a design is updated, then workflows can mention you, asking for your input

These are just a few basic examples of what you'll be able to automate. Check out our workflows guide for our tips on creating your own.
